Day 14
Isaiah 55:10-11
The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish... so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty.
God's Word nurtures growth and produces fruit in our lives.
Reflection...
- How does the Word of God work in my life?
- What does God promise that His word will produce in my life? How have I seen this happen already?
- What should I do when I feel discouraged about whether or not the Word of God is working?
